Waste
- Wokingham Borough Council supplies 80 blue bin bags per year for each residence to use to dispose of household waste
- They don’t supply blue bin bags if you use a communal bin e.g. for flats – you need to use your own
- Blue bin bags are delivered by 1 April each year
- Blue bin bags are collected from each household once a week from the edge of your property – find collection days
- If you’re new to the area and need to organise delivery of your blue bin bags visit order blue bin bags if you’re a new resident
- If you have 5 people in your household you can ask for an extra 20 blue bin bags free – phone 0118 974 6000 or email: customerservice@

Recycling
- Wokingham Borough Council supplies a black recycling box for each residence to dispose of recycling waste
- Recycling boxes are collected from each household once a week from the edge of your property on the same day as blue bin bags – find collection days
- If you are new to the area to organise delivery of your recycling box phone 0118 974 6000 or email: customerservice@wokingham.gov.uk
- If you need more recycling boxes you can order additional recycling boxes for free with no limit

Food Waste
As of April 2019, Wokingham issued every household with a food waste bin and caddy, these are to be put out with blue bags and recycling boxes weekly – click here for more information
Additional bags are free and can be collected from all libraries and at the Parish Council. (at present these can be collected from the Post Office on School Green, this is temporary measure whilst the office is closed during this time)
Garden Waste
- Wokingham Borough Council provides an annual brown bin collection service for garden waste which costs £60 a year- annual bins are collected fortnightly – find collection days

- You can also buy brown sacks to dispose of garden waste for £1 each – brown sacks are also collected on your fortnightly garden waste collection day – find collection days
