Parish Walk Leaflets
The Shinfield Parish Volunteer Group have created some Parish Walk leaflets – see below.
The walks are generally short and not too taxing so are for everyone.
You can download the leaflets by clicking on the links below or obtain hardcopies from the School Green centre.
(Please note 02/11/23: Parish Walks apart from Grazeley & Pearmans Copse and Nores Hill, are in the process of being updated, so at present these will need interpretation)

Shinfield Volunteer Group Footpath Report (monthly)
Shinfield Volunteer Group Footpath Report – November 2023
As promised in last month’s report we are back for one final time this season. We wanted to give you an update for the Shinfield Parish Walk number 6 and in particular the section of footpath at the western end of Pearmans Copse.
The section through the brambles leading up to the Shinfield Road was becoming very hard to walk through so we have cut back to give an acceptable width for walking. It remains very muddy as are many rural paths at this time so stout walking boots or wellingtons would be wise.
We also found some fallen trees lying across the path in the section before the brambles so we cut those out. There are a couple of photos included here to illustrate the issues.
Elaine and I will be contactable on our details below should you encounter anything that you feel needs reporting but for now we are signing off reporting until March.
We are grateful to our Shinfield Volunteer Group colleagues who helped to make life easier for us and supported me in my role as the rambler’s footpath warden for Shinfield.
That just leaves the SVG to say, enjoy the upcoming festivities, have a happy new year and most of all stay safe.
