Dear Sir/Madam,
Please be aware that Wokingham Borough Council as Highway Authority hereby gives notice under Section 14 (2) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that no vehicle shall proceed along Woodcock Court, Three Mile Cross from its junction with Grazeley Road.
The reason for this prohibition is to enable Wokingham Borough Council contractors to undertake urgent reconstruction works to the carriageway and footway in safety.
Access for residents and business users within the boundary of the restriction will be maintained at all times.
The restriction will come into effect on 2nd September 2021. It will only be in effect whilst the necessary traffic signs are lawfully displayed in the said road. It is, however, anticipated that works requiring this restriction will be completed by 3rd September 2021. The restriction will only be in force between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00.
