Please be advised that Wokingham Borough Council, as the Highway Authority, is issuing a notice under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. No vehicles shall proceed along Cutbush Lane East, Shinfield from its junction with A327 Eastern Relief Road during the specified period.
Reason for Closure:
This prohibition is necessary to enable contractors from Wokingham Borough Council to safely carry out highway maintenance defect repairs.
Access:
Access to properties or businesses within the boundary of the restriction will be maintained wherever possible.
Duration and Timings:
The restriction will commence on 1st October 2024 and continue for a period not exceeding 5 days. It will only be in effect while the required traffic signs are lawfully displayed. The works are expected to be completed by 1st October 2024. The restriction will be enforced only between the hours of 8am – 4pm.
Compliance:
The restriction will apply only during periods when traffic signs complying with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 are lawfully displayed.
