Cllr Nigel Boyer

Although a relative newcomer to Spencers Wood, Nigel has lived around Reading all his life, and moved to the parish from Lower Earley. He is married to Melanie, a teacher, and they have two young children. Since moving to the parish, he and his family have been enjoying exploring the surrounding villages and countryside. His motivation for joining Shinfield Parish Council is to help positively shape the community which his children grow up in.

14.10.25 Nigel was unanimously elected as Chair of Shinfield Parish Council by Extraordinary Full Council on 13.10.25.
