Artists' sign up to exhibit at the Shinfield Art Showcase 2027
Artist Registration:
Sign-up opens on 9th October 2026 at 11am and closes on 8th January 2027.
Artists who wish to take part must pay the fee before completing the registration form which is located at the bottom of this page.
Display fee and allocation:
The fee is £5 for each display panel, with a maximum of 4 panels per artist.
Panels will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each artist will be allocated a display panel measuring approximately 2m high x 1m wide.

Artwork submissions:
Artists may submit details of up to six pieces works for each display panel – large pieces will need to be displayed on its own and smaller up to 6 – See Guide below.
We must receive all information by and no later than 22nd January 2027.
If we do not receive your information by the above deadline, we will assume that you no longer wish to exhibit, we will not chase artists.
Preparing your artwork to be dropped off: Each piece must be clearly labelled and must match the information submitted in January;
- Artist’s name
- Artwork title/name
- Description/Title ‘what inspired you’ no more than two lines per piece – see example below.
- Sale price or “NFS” (not for sale)
- Fit suitable string or wire securely to the back of each piece.
- Artwork fitted with a hook and not suitable wire/string will not be accepted.
- Details cannot be changed after submission because exhibition labels will be printed in advance and cannot be reprinted.
Drop-off and display: Shinfield Parish Council organisers will decide how many pieces can be displayed comfortably on the panels you have booked, avoiding overcrowding or positioning artwork too low.
Large pieces may need a panel of their own. Panels will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis by our Team, and lighting will be provided this year to ensure all artwork is illuminated.
Our Team will check each piece of artwork against its exhibition label.
PLEASE NOTE: Labels cannot be changed at this stage (printed off site), so please bring only the works you submitted in January (22nd deadline, no changes accepted after this time).
Exhibition and drop-off dates: The exhibition runs throughout the February half-term week, from 17th to 21st February 2027 (this is a longer period this year, to allow more of our community to visit).
Artwork must be dropped off on Monday 15th or by 2pm on Tuesday 16th at the very the latest.
Gala Evening
The Gala Evening is for Artists & those by special invitation.
The special preview evening will be held on Tuesday 16th February at 7.30pm, invites will be sent out nearer the time but please save the date and ask your family & friends to join you.
Activities schedule: We are hoping to run many workshops, talks, films and other activities all week long. If you would like to run an activity, please get in touch by 8th January, we welcome any interest.
Collection: All unsold artwork, including work marked “NFS”, must be collected on Sunday 21st February between 4 pm and 6 pm or the very latest, Monday 22nd by noon.
Sales and payment: Proceeds from artwork sold during the exhibition will be paid to artists within two weeks of the event. Artists whose work sells will be asked to provide their bank details for payment. A 20% commission will be deducted from all sales to support fundraising for Shinfield Parish Public Art.

More information on Display Panels
Artwork should be arranged to create a balanced display, with sufficient space between pieces. The centre of your display should be approximately at eye level. Artists may exhibit a single large piece or a collection of smaller works, provided all artwork fits safely within the allocated panel space.
