Shinfield Art Showcase 2025

The first Shinfield Art Showcase was a huge success!

We had 52 artists signed up and between them, we displayed 305 pieces of art in total. We used the Ryeish Green and Pound Green rooms which adjoin together, to make a large space perfect for an art exhibition.

48 pieces of art sold in total;

37 pieces raising £3668.00 for our local artists & parish public art fund.

11 pieces sold by David Cotton, Professional Artist who sat on our exhibition working party. David raised £575.00 for Alexander Devine Hospice.

Now for the thank you’s!

Firstly, thank you to the artists, whom which we couldn’t have done this without, were all amazing to work with and the quality of their work was outstanding.

Thank you to our community for attending and buying some artwork, this meant so much to the artists, especially those that this was their first exhibition.

Thank you to all those who contributed to the community ‘fans of art’ display – pictured.

Thank you to David Cotton for guiding and supporting us and Arts4Wokingham for your support and providing a free talk on public art – watch this space, some money was raised from this event to support public art in the parish fund.

Thank you to those who donated two pieces of art to Shinfield Parish Council, we will proudly display these in one of our buildings.
