Ahead of Remembrance Sunday 2023, Shinfield Parish Council have placed a cross on each of the four war graves in St Mary’s graveyard. It is important to remember the sacrifices made. Schools will be having their own service at the School Green war memorial on Friday 10th November from 10.45 a.m., the two minute silence will be marked in the School Green Centre on Saturday 11th and of course all are welcome to attend the parade and service on Sunday 12th which also starts at 10.45 a.m.
