Strong start to rigid plastic recycling trial
Our partners at re3 have seen a really strong start to their rigid plastic recycling trial at the recycling. More than ten tonnes of plastic waste has been collected and sent for recycling in the first few weeks.
When visiting, please remember to put all rigid plastic items such as plastic buckets, crates, bins, storage boxes, garden furniture, pipes, toys, reusable bottles, baby bottles or plastic plant pots into the designated containers.
Everything which is collected goes on to be used in pipelines, the automotive industry, construction materials, furniture and household items. This is all within the UK and Europe.
