Shinfield Parish Council are of course saddened by the announcement from Robyn’s Nest that they will cease trading at the School Green Centre from Saturday 23rd December.
Our thoughts go especially to the café team that we have gotten to know so well over the last 20 months.
We view a vibrant café as a key part of a successful School Green Centre and the community as a whole.
We will of course be tendering for a new café operator and interested parties should contact the Clerk on clerk@shinfieldparish.gov.uk . While we would especially welcome proposals for a community café the priority will be to find an operator who can ensure the long-term viability of the café.
We are also looking at some interim arrangements for the café area while this process is carried out.
