Local bus trips are free for children and young people this summer!
On any date in August, anyone aged five to 15 can take a free single bus journey from any stop in Wokingham Borough.
This applies to local journeys even where they finish outside the borough, as long as they start within it.
The Department for Transport is funding the offer through the UK Government‘s Great British Summer Savings scheme.
Local operators Reading Buses, Thames Valley Buses and Carousel Buses are all taking part.
Single journeys for adults remain capped at £3 and there’s already free local bus travel for accompanied under-5s
