The newly opened day nursery and preschool in Spencers Wood, Berkshire, part of Grandir UK, is holding a ‘Grand Opening’ event on Saturday 3rd February to officially launch their premises to the local community.
This event will consist of a cooking and baking activity for the attending children to get involved with, showcasing one of the nursery’s educational programmes entitled ‘Make & Bake’. The day nursery and preschool will also be opening their brand-new sensory room to help develop children’s touch, sight, sound, smell and taste in their nursery setting.
In addition, there will be a local hypnobirthing consultant and local baby massage therapist attending the event to share expert advice and answer questions for both new and expecting parents. The nursery will be officially opened by a surprise guest that will be announced on the day.
The Spencers Wood Day Nursery & Preschool opened in the autumn of 2023 and was Grandir UK’s first day nursery and preschool in Berkshire. The site has been repurposed as a nursery from a three-storey beauty salon to help fill the gap for this service within the area.

Spencer Woods Day Nursery & Preschool’s official Grand Opening event will take place on Saturday 3rd February 2024 between 9am and 1pm.
