The Repair Cafe at Lambs Lane Primary School Spencers Wood is taking part of the Big Fix 2024!
It’s also our 2nd Birthday on Sunday 19th May
Please come and help us celebrate and enjoy some birthday cake.
We are a local success story.
In the past two years we have welcomed over 600 visitors and looked at 850 broken household items with a 69% success rate.
We have received lottery funding that has enabled us to have two PAT appliances and run workshops with guides/scouts and schools to build birdboxes from waste wood.
We have a team of people cutting wood and creating birdbox kits. This year we have run 8 workshops and have 6 more workshops planned this term. We have built 140 birdboxes so far.
We have contributed to the School funds of Lambs Lane school by hiring their hall. And hopefully leave it all clean and tidy!
We are a local voluntary community group our ethos is to reduce landfill and work with young people to enable them to learn new skills. Donations are always welcome to cover our running costs.
