The Shinfield Art Showcase 2026 captivated visitors and artists alike with a vibrant display of local talent and creativity. The Art Exhibition featured an impressive array of paintings, glassware, and mixed media works from both emerging and established artists in the community.
This year’s event not only highlighted the rich artistic spirit of Shinfield Parish, but also fostered connections among artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts. The showcase proved to be a memorable occasion, inspiring visitors and reinforcing Shinfield’s reputation as a thriving hub for the arts.
We are grateful to all the talented artists who participated; without their involvement, the exhibition would not have been possible.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the artists Julie Rowden, for her generous donation of the historical painting ‘Shopping Centre, Shinfield’, and Brettjoastro, for donating an aerial photograph of St. Mary’s Church, Shinfield, to the School Green Centre – we can’t wait to hang them for everyone to enjoy!
Activities were also organised for the Showcase week, a special thanks goes to Mohan Banerji for his engaging talk on ‘Urban Sketching’ and to Paint with Pam for her art class, ‘Paint like Bob Ross.’ Both sessions attracted a great deal of interest and were very well received.
Finally, we appreciate everyone who participated in our activities and visited our exhibition, we were blown away with all the community support and kind feedback.
Shinfield Art Showcase will be back in February 2027!!
