Reading Family Aid’s Toys and Teens Appeal is BACK for 2023!
Reading Family Aid is a local charity supporting disadvantaged children and their families. Each Christmas, the Toys and Teens Appeal helps guarantee that children, who would otherwise not receive a single present, have something to open on Christmas morning.
Last year, over 3,000 children received a gift at Christmas, thanks to the generosity of our wonderful donors and supporters.
With the cost-of-living crisis hitting families hard in so many ways, this support makes a real difference to every family. Here’s just one of the many ‘thank you’ messages last year, showing how much your donations mean to families:
“Hi thank you so much for the fantastic toys we received. This was the first time we had received toys from you. Our families were so grateful. Everything was brilliant. We are so grateful to you for what you do. You made many children very happy, especially this year when things are very tough for so many. A massive thank you.”
