The sun was shining for the Deardon Orchard restorative work volunteer day on 14th October 2023.
Prior to the volunteer day, we bought in an Arboriculturist to conduct an assessment on the orchard/trees and plan what work was required. He was also on hand on the day to give support and advice to our volunteers who helped stake the trees (pictured) and surrounded them with mulch. We do hope this restorative work helps the trees and orchard to thrive.
