The Communications and Policies Committee was suspended in 2018 and will recommence in Sept 2021. This Committee promotes and reviews all current methods of communication, both internal and external. The committee recommend to Council improvements to the content, structure and frequency of those communication methods. The committee will make recommendations to the council of any additional methods of communication not currently used, and recommend how best to use them to improve the effectiveness of Council communications. It maintains all non-personnel policies of the Council, ensuring that they are all kept up to date with current legislation.
The Communications and Policies Committee meets between six and nine times a year at 6 pm on a Wednesday.
