The Spencers Wood Pavilion based at Spencers Wood Recreation Ground was officially opened on 17th October 2020. It is home to Chapel Lane Pre-school, the Shinfield Voluntary Car Service and the Pavilion Youth Club. There are rooms to hire, see above for link to bookings page for more information.

Blog of the build
The new pavilion construction is finished and we hope you agree, it looks amazing! Modulek the construction company will hand over to Shinfield Parish Council tomorrow 09/10/2020. Official opening is scheduled for 17/10/2020. More info to follow….
Update w/c 14/09/20
The new pavilion roof has now been finished. The grounds works around the building have started this week and also the pre-school kitchen is starting to take shape.
The NEW Pavilion is now in place
We hope you agree that it is a beautiful new building which will benefit the community greatly. Further ground works will commence w/c 7th September and it is planned to be ready and open by mid-end of October.

Goodbye to the old Pavilion...
The old pavilion was demolished at the end of July 2020. The new modular pavilion will be built shortly and planned to reopen by October 2020. Please check this page for regular updates throughout the build process.
